Guest Post: Packing Tips and Tricks for Travel

Scandinavia is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Oddly most people only think of ice and vast uninhabited land when Scandinavia is mentioned. Although, it is true that it is a haven for winter sports enthusiasts, but it is also one of the few places on earth, where you can actually go for a hike in the midnight sun. Yes. You read it correct. We deliberately wrote the midnight sun. And the Swedish Lapland is the best and most accessible place to go for this special hike.

If you have always wanted to walk in the midnight sun, then we would humbly suggest Kiruna as the place to go for a tour. You can also find this phenomenon in Iceland, but for us the Swedish Lapland is the more scenic of the two. It is hard to beat its beautiful trails through the forest, and the fabulous view from the top of the mountain. The sun hardly sets there in between May and July.

But, nothing worthwhile in life is easy. Even during the summer months it can get cold and if you actually want to camp on the mountain top, we would recommend that you take the best Backcountry gear with you to stay comfortable. But, even before you do that you have to pack it right. The easiest way is to start by making a list of items you will need. Then select the right backpack. It has to be comfortable, lightweight, and still be able to carry all your things. Make a separate list of things that you will carry in your backpack on the hike.

We know wordy posts can be boring, so we have compiled a detailed infographic on the best tips and tricks out there on how to pack for all such trips.
